How it presents
Affected dogs typically develop painless, swollen lymph nodes that can be felt under the jaw, in front of the shoulders, or behind the knees, usually during middle to older age. Owners might also notice general signs of illness such as lethargy, unexplained weight loss, and a decreased appetite.
Treatment
While B-cell lymphoma is not curable, it is treatable with chemotherapy protocols designed to put the cancer into remission and improve quality of life. This management requires ongoing veterinary care, with treatment costs typically ranging from 2,500 to 8,000 EUR.
