Während der Jagdsaison muss ich seine Futterration fast verdoppeln und auf besonders energiereiches Futter achten, um seinen hohen Bedarf zu decken. Er ist ein treuer Arbeitspartner, der nach getaner Arbeit aber auch seine Ruhephasen einfordert.

Ein kleiner gesundheitlicher Schwachpunkt sind ihre langen Schlappohren, die wir regelmäßig kontrollieren und reinigen müssen, da sie anfällig für Entzündungen sind.
